Summer Camps with SUSA Academy FAQ
What should my child bring?
Appropriate athletic attire - t-shirt, shorts, long socks - No Jeans! / Shinguards* / Soccer ball / Plenty of water! / Snack or light lunch / Cleats, turf and flat surface shoes / Rain and waterproof clothing / Sunscreen *(shinguards must be worn under socks)
How are the players grouped?
Each participant is grouped based on age and then ability initially however, if a player shows exceptional ability he or she may be moved to an older group if desired.
Who are the Camp instructors?
All of our camp instructors are fully licensed youth coaches with experience playing and/or coaching at the college and semi pro or professional levels.
Refund or Credits?
Refunds will not be permitted within 7 days from the camp start date. Credits for future camp/clinics will be given at the directors discretion.
If a camp day is cancelled due to inclement weather then we try to add a make-up day following the initial last scheduled camp day. In some circumstances we may allow participants to attend a makeup day at another camp week with similar age/ability levels. Refunds will not be provided for cancellation due to weather.
Pro-rated if I register late?
You will be asked to register online for the full amount and a credit will be applied to your household for future camps/clinics.
Do I need to register individually for Team Camp?
If your player is on an Albertson SC Premier or Hybrid package team you do not need to register individually for Team Camp. The camp fee is included in your annual contract with SUSA Academy. Team Coaches will distribute a schedule for such teams as soon as it is available.
